HRC is always looking to buy scrap gold, silver, jewelry, and other estate items.  Please give us a call or stop by for a free appraisal.  We have been buying scrap gold before jewelers, mail-order companies, and gold parties were showing any interest.  We are also one of the few refiners of precious metals.

We purchase unwanted and broken 10k, 14k, and 18k gold and silver jewelry.  Even if you are not sure if a piece of jewelry is gold or silver, we can assay the piece to determine its content.  We are registered with the NJ Division of Weights and Measures (Reg. # 19-062987-08).

We also purchase silver, gold, and platinum coins, medals, industrial wire, and scrap.  Silver flatware is also purchased at current market value.

Seller Beware!

Recent trends in bullion prices have resulted in a surge of "gold & silver parties" and mail-order gold services, which have a reputation for paying out severely less than what your gold is actually worth.  We have frequently seen payouts as low as one third of actual value.

In the case of "gold & silver parties," scales are often not registered and may yield inaccurate measurements.  The host of such parties receives a commission in the range of 10-20%.  The gold is often resold at higher, more accurate prices to other public buyers.  All of this results in the sellers receiving much less than the market value of their gold.
